Inaugural 1 – Connected Classroom
Location: Rural Michoacán, Mexico

Inaugural 2 is the first connected classroom in the CESC Foundation’s Inaugural School Cluster. This lab will provide students with reliable access to computers, bilingual learning tools, and a safe, modern space for exploring new ideas.
The classroom will feature:
- 5 refurbished Dell workstations with dual monitors
- Secure, managed networking and internet access
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) operating environment and classroom software
- A standardized, supportable image that can be cloned to future schools

It costs approximately $5,000 USD to fully equip this classroom. Sponsors can help fund computers, networking, installation, and ongoing support.

Project Milestones
- Design & Assessment: Site walk-through, power and connectivity mapping.
- Hardware Staging: Refurbished XE-series systems and monitors prepared.
- Image Build: Bilingual OS and classroom tools finalized for deployment.
- Onsite Installation: Workstations, switching, routing, and cabling installed.
- Teacher Onboarding: Basic training and documentation delivered.

Inaugural 1 es la primera aula conectada del Cluster Inaugural de Escuelas de la Fundación CESC. Este laboratorio ofrecerá a las y los estudiantes acceso confiable a computadoras, herramientas de aprendizaje bilingüe y un espacio seguro y moderno para explorar nuevas ideas.
El aula contará con:
- 20 computadoras Dell reacondicionadas con monitores duales
- Red y acceso a internet administrados de forma segura
- Entorno operativo bilingüe (español/inglés) y software para el aula
- Una imagen estandarizada que se puede replicar fácilmente en futuras escuelas
